Have you had a stressful week? Well what can be more relaxing than some live music? The UW-Stout Blue Devil Jazz Orchestra is performing on Saturday, Nov. 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Great Hall.
The band will be playing a variety of jazz tunes from a medley of different composers like Dave Brubeck and Count Basie. Stout’s swing club will also be making an appearance to dance to a few of the jazz charts that will be played.
Once the Blue Devil Jazz Orchestra’s performance is over the Chippewa Falls’ community band The Troppo Big Band will take the stage. The band is directed by Robert Heintz, and features UW-Stout’s band director Aaron Durst on baritone saxophone.
Tickets are five dollars for general seating so come out and support your fellow students who have been rehearsing all semester for this show.
