University Communications, the central public information office for UW-Stout, is looking for enthusiastic students with passion for public speaking, interest in event coverage and/or journalism, and the desire to engage the campus community and become a “public face” of the UW-Stout student body.

In addition to reading scripts on camera, you will assist University Communication’s social media coordinator with student outreach, content planning, and event coverage. Event coverage may include writing reviews, conducting interviews, and light video/photo work. Blogging and brainstorming will be large parts of your duties.

The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, punctuality, and enthusiasm.

Must be available 4 hours per week minimum, with flexibility to account for evening and weekend event coverage.
